Take a look at the performance pyramid and notice that movement makes up the base, this will be your foundation. Our 60 minute lifting fundamentals class will provide you with an introduction to movement patterns for strength & power development. We will not load any movement with weight during this class, the sole purpose is to create an understanding of efficient movement for lifting. Whether you are just getting started in the gym or have been working at it for some time we can guarantee you will take away valuable principles to guide your long term development.
You may ask yourself “what does it mean to train movement?” When you set out to improve strength, power or speed and agility many of the exercises we use require coordination of several joints and muscles. As strength and conditioning coaches we understand the varying complexity of exercises and the underlying physical characteristics required for appropriate use. The first stage of our training process requires our coaching team to determine your movement IQ, this will help us create your program.
